i saw a really round pigeon,
i saw a very small sparrow.
i looked up at the windows
hoping to catch a cat staring
back at me. i stared at the
strollers hoping they would
be jinx and alaska. they are
a baby. but that’s okay.
there’s a dog with a street
sweeping tail, one that’s a
loryo, and one that’s laifu.

when i go home i drop a
splash of vinegar into
the washing machine
and tie up my hair
